Android 11 and Samsung’s One UI 3.1 skin bring tons of new features which include Object eraser tool, Private share, Chat bubbles, One-time permission, Built-in screen recorder, Samsung free, and Eye comfort shield. The Android monthly security patch also gets upgraded to March 2021. Galaxy A80 was launched back in 2019 with Android 9 Pie. So, this is the second major OS upgrade for the device and it won’t be getting further OS update. However, the device will continue to receive regular security patch update for a while. The Android 11 based One UI 3.1 update should reach your Galaxy A80 with a pop-up notification. Users can manually check for the latest update by navigating to Settings » Software update.
