The February 2022 software update for Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ comes with the firmware versions G960NKSU5FVA2 and G965NKSU5FVA2, respectively. As revealed by Samsung, the February security patch fixes 2 critical, 29 high-level, and 15 moderate-level of vulnerabilities. As the update does not bring some major changes to the device, its download size is also not high, just 188.44MB. For now, the update is rolling out in South Korea and should expand to more regions in the coming days or weeks.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ users residing in South Korea have started picking up the February update. Those who haven’t received it yet can navigate to Settings » Software Updates to check for the latest update available.
