Buying cars in Need for Speed Unbound
The 30th installment of the NFS franchise is Need for Speed: Unbound and it takes place in the fictional city of Lakeshore. As usual, the game has a single-player story campaign and a multiplayer portion, Lakeshore Online. In the game, you’ll be able to customize your driver, from their style to their physical attributes. More importantly, there will be the feature of vehicle customization. Like its predecessors, Need for Speed Unbound comes with over 140 cars that you can earn as rewards or purchases. The issue that players encounter at the start is that they aren’t able to buy cars. You need to unlock this option first before you take advantage of it.
How to buy cars in Need for Speed Unbound
You will have to complete the prologue missions if you want to purchase cars in the game. Once the intro is finished, you will get the option to buy cars from Rydell’s Garage. Once you open the garage shop, you will be instructed to use the cash from Tess to purchase new cars in Need for Speed Unbound. You will notice that not every car here is unlocked. There is still a bit of progress or other things that you’ll have to do in the story for unlocking them all. Moreover, keep in mind your budget. Many of these cars could be outside your price range. You can save up money or do more missions, events, and races. Once you purchase your first car in the game, you can start customizing it by adding effects and tags that you have unlocked. You can still use the starter car, which is one of the following options – Dodge Charger R/T (1969), Nissan Silvi K’s (1998), and Lamborghini Golf GTI Clubsport (2016).
