Last week, Xiaomi started rolling out the Android 12-based MIUI 13 update to the Mi 11 Lite 4G users. But, the rollout was limited to the Global version. On the other hand, Indian users are still receiving updates based on Android 11. Hopefully, the brand will soon expand the Android 12 reach to Mi 11 Lite 4G users in India and other countries. The January 2022 security patch for Mi 11 Lite 4G should fix a bunch of vulnerabilities to improve the system’s security and privacy. The latest OTA update does not include any other changes apart from the January patch. Therefore, don’t expect a performance improvement or new features.
